Well, I am happy to announce that we finally have our chickens. Summer, a Welsummer, and Jackie,a Blue Barred Plymouth Rock. Both are 6 weeks old and fully feathered little beauties. My youngest basset is already mothering them to death, so it will be a fun road of learning and LOTS of patience.
