Today I found my oldest baby basset snuggled on the couch reading a chapter book instead of playing video games or watching TV. Okay… I have taken the video games away from the kids for a while so he didn’t have a choice on that one, but he could be doing anything else and he choose to read a book. It’s his first chapter book and it has been such a thrill for me to watch as he discovers the awesome world of reading. He is already asking for more in the series, and our neighbors thankfully have most of them. Now where on Earth am I gonna find an endless supply of books for my growing reader? Oh ya…hahaha.
