I am certain that if my little tiny bantam Naughty was a full sized chicken she would be the alpha of the flock. I was sitting outside yesterday throwing little treats to the chickies, and Naughty was by far the most (I won’t say rude) assertive of the little chickies. She was stealing treats right out of everyone’s beaks. I know this is normal for chickens to try to steal things from each other, but Naughty is the smallest and the last to join the flock. Here I was so worried that she would always be picked on for being the smallest and lowest in the pecking order. I had no idea she would be so…..NAUGHTY!!
