What is that noise? Oh golly it sounds awful right now. It’s confusing me and it’s coming from that bright light over there. Did I die? Am I heading towards the light? I’m so confused. Oh…wait. I know what that is. It’s all the Christmas decorations on full display now. Before they were just sort of creeping in, but now the scary decorations are gone and they get free rein of the stores. Gather round children. Let me tell you of a time long long again when there was once a holiday called Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful holiday with lots and lots of food. You ate a special turkey that made you sleepy and after you ate it you took a very satisfying nap. It was glorious. But mamma! Aren’t we supposed to go shopping after we eat, and buy lots of stuff that’s kinda on sale and fight other shoppers in a glorious battle over a low cost toaster that Aunt Betty never really wanted, but she is going to get anyway since it was on sale? NO LITTLE CREATURE! Drink your chamomile ( I was going to say NyQuil, but I didn’t want to worry everyone. I wouldn’t share my NyQuil with anyone. Especially my kids) and go take a nap!
