OH MY GOLLY! It’s hideous! Get it away! Get it AWAY! What do they call that thing? Oh…it’s called Monday. Sorry Monday. I thought you were a grotesque monster that was put through the ugly machine and something went terrible wrong and made you even more hideous than planned. Ya, I am pulling a Garfield and expressing my hate for Mondays. I usually try to keep things pretty chipper here, but I am not saint and quite frankly my bed felt really nice this morning. Maybe that last piece of cake will improve my outlook.

Wuthering Heights
Emily Bronte
(4,173 Reviews)
Genre: Romance | Classics
FREE for a limited time
Emily Bronte (1848) was an English novelist and poet who didn’t live long enough to give the world all she could have, but she did write Wuthering Heights, her only novel, which is now generally considered a classic in English and Western literature. Bronte and her sisters attempted to write several different novels and stories, eventually publishing a volume of poems under male pseudonyms entitled Poems by Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell. Most of the poetry was Emily’s, but it didn’t get popular reviews, leading the sisters to begin novels. Emily’s sisters produced acclaimed novels like Agnes Grey and Jane Eyre, but today it’s Emily’s Wuthering Heights that is considered the best.
