There are only 48 days left until my partner in crime and I are going to Tough Mudder (ten mile, 20 obstacle event to make you cry like a baby and want a chocolate cake). I am super happy that it takes place right at the very beginning of summer. My plan is to eat super healthy, exercise a lot, climb a bunch of mountains, and be in peak form by the time TM hits. Then, for the rest of the summer I will be as lazy as that caterpillar that I have been waiting for to change into a chrysalis for what seems like a millennium, eat anything I want and just feel joy in my heart and belly. By joy I mean cake of course. I haven’t had cake or anything sweet and wonderful for 16 days. 16 long days…. caaaaake…..(heavy sigh). The baby bassets school puts on a end of school year carnival and I was put in charge of the cake walk. They put the fox in charge of the hen house. There is a very good chance that will be the day I snap.
