I spent a good few hour squeezing as much honey as I could from the comb that we had collected from our bees this year. We are talking a few hours, and I ended up with about two cups of honey. Yes, a long time for so little honey, but I cherished every drop like I was Golllum with his one true ring. I had decided though that I was going to enjoy the honey instead of saving it to be discovered by archeologists 4000 years from now. Up until now I would only take little tastes here and there, then eating the store bought honey for regular every day eating. I will still save a bit for comparisons over the years. Maybe I should have a special display case with little jars hanging in my kitchen. I will put it up high though and lock it up, so when I die the family will have to use a treasure map to find the key. It will be quite the adventure.
