The vet tells me to keep Junebug from running, jumping, and acting anything like a puppy. This has been a lot harder task than I had expected, and I expected it to be impossible. It’s like trying to contain fireworks. Today she seems to be back to her old self. Personally, if I had major surgery like that, I would be milking it for at least a month, maybe two. But she is a puppy and has no time for relaxing. I’m doing it, but the second that two weeks is up, I am going to let her loose on the world. Actually I am going to let her loose on the lawn in the backyard, but since she is so small it will seem like the world.
