Happy Monday! It was such an eventful weekend, I am actually glad it is Monday, so I can relax a bit. We hit the ground running on Saturday morning when we loaded up the whole family and drove an hour away to pick up some bees. I had gone to look at them on Thursday, and was quite delighted to see they were a very active colony. Hubby came back with me Saturday morning, and when we both lifted the two level box, I was delighted to feel just how heavy it was. We got them home, hubby made two awesome stands for both of my colonies, and we got them settled into their new spot. As soon as I opened the entrance to the bee box, it was chaos. In a good way though. They seem to be really sweet bees, and did not mind so much as I made a few adjustments around their area. Unfortunately it was such a windy day yesterday, that they stayed inside the box. I am hoping today the weather will be a bit more agreeable with them, so they can venture out a bit and explore their new territory.

The author’s unique Chesapeake voice once again gives us an exciting read about the people, their beliefs and legends, the animals and the grasping mud and black water wetlands of this mysterious American region. Each book, introducing new memorable characters, retains the simple and beautiful lifestyle, history and beauty of the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay. Powerful subjects such as freedom, atomic war, racism, religion, terror, sailing, and family love, are approached. Stories are insightful and well researched with technical expertise, humor, and fast moving action.
River Sunday Romance Mysteries are suitable for teen and older readers. They have no strong language and romantic descriptions are clean and suitable for family reading, discussion and enjoyment.
Thomas Hollyday has spent years working for animals rights. Part of the proceeds of his books goes to financing the research and maintenance of fresh drinking water resources for wildlife.
