I thought organizing all the family’s digital pictures would only take a day or two. One month later and I am almost done, but not quite. What the last month has taught me is… DON’T take anymore pictures! Back in my day you had a roll of film in your camera and were limited to 24 pictures..maybe. There was no instant gratification either. In order to see the pictures you had to take them in to get developed. I always loved going through the Kodak drive through and handing in my rolls of film to the person in the tiny booth. One week. It always took about one week to get them back. When that week finally passed, I would get my envelope filled with pictures, but be too excited to go straight home. Instead I would pull off to the side and go through the pictures right away. ALL BLURRY! I was a terrible photographer. I would end up with maybe one or two okay looking pictures. Did that stop me from buying more film and taking more pictures? No. Now I have boxes and boxes of blurry pictures in Kodak envelopes that I just can’t bear to throw out. Either that’s a picture of me and my best friend from High School, or two polar bears at a park… not sure.
