I want to be as smart as a teenager. I always talk about how sweet and wonderful my two baby bassets are, but they are no angels. I LOVE THEM… AND… they are still teenagers that know everything. My oldest, who is 16, seems to be thinking more and more that I am not the sharpest tool in the shed, and he knows everything about everything. It all started when I was no longer taller than him. Once we were eye to eye, my IQ level went down a few points. Now that he is a good 6 inches taller than me I am a complete idiot. It’s a wonder how I can even function on a daily basis. My youngest is almost the same height as me. I am doomed. What I should do is take full advantage of my increasing lack of intelligence and forget completely how to do laundry or buy food. Hmmph!
