I can tell this trip is really wearing out my normally very yappy pups. Their woofs at the other dogs, just don’t have the pizazz and excitement they normally have. Junebug, most of the time, isn’t even looking at the passing dogs when she barks. It’s not even a bark, more of a bubbling action. Blurp blurp blurp. I wasn’t sure how they would do on such a long trip, but I am happy to say they have been fantastic to have around. I don’t feel bad when I leave them behind in the RV for excursions they can’t join us on because they are usually happy to have a bit of quiet time to rest. Plus they have AC. I hope these pups don’t get too spoiled with all this action. We won’t go on another long trip like this until maybe next Spring. With all the trouble we have had I am still daydreaming about our next trip. I was thinking the Southwest in Spring.
