On Sunday morning we got up early for a long day of site seeing, activities, and driving to our next destination. We took our time leaving Yellowstone, taking a few pictures and just enjoying the view. We also drove through the Grand Tetons. I think grand is an understatement. WOW! Just WOW! It was so amazing that even my teenage boys were excited and took a few hundred pictures each. We were still driving separately at this point on the way to Jackson. I was really hoping to see a bit of wildlife in Yellowstone. The only thing we saw was one lone bison and a very large crow. We arrived in Jackson around 10am. My oldest had a reservation for a zipline experience at Snow King Mountain. Hubby, my youngest and I decided to ride the Cowboy Coaster and the gondola instead. We enjoyed the view from the top of the ski slopes while we waited for my oldest to finish the course. I was both enjoying the view and freaking out about how high up we were. After we finished we went downtown for lunch and a bit of souvenir shopping. Then it was back in the RV and I drove to our next destination, Shelley, Idaho just outside of Idaho Falls. That was Sunday. On Monday I woke up sick as a dog. Hubby took over the driving and we drove about four hours to Boise. Last night we met up with some high school friends of my hubby and had a great dinner on the patio at their favorite restaurant. Today they are taking us on a rafting trip. Of course I will post lots of pictures, so if you want to check out our trip in more detail you can see it on my blog Pollen Patch by clicking here.

In One Life and Out Another
by J Mercer
(18 Reviews)
Genre: Teen & Young Adult
FREE for a limited time
When Marin’s parents tell her they’re getting divorced — or, in a parallel universe, they don’t — her life is split in two.
In one version of Marin’s future, she’s counting on scholarships to get her into college far away from her suffocating mother. She’s determined that nothing will stop her, but then she can’t seem to say no to what everyone else wants — or yes to Sam, seeing as her best friend Hannah wants him too.
Things that this Marin puts up with — a narcissistic mother and a buoyant yet selfish best friend — the other never would. But then, the other can’t stop fighting long enough to get who or what she wants. Instead, she marks a path through life that nearly alienates her best friend Whitney and the boy from work she won’t let herself be distracted by, because distractions like Sam Hanson won’t get her into dance school and away from her mom.
When college doesn’t provide the easy answer either Marin had hoped for, she must decide, in both scenarios, how far she’ll go — and who she’s willing to sacrifice — to save herself.
