At the thrift store a few weeks ago I found a cute little tin recipe card holder and it was filled with recipes from the 1970’s and 80’s. Looking through the little cards I found some real treats that I might just have to try. Most of the cards are from a set called ” Recipes of the Ladies of Lynchburg. One category is labeled “Old Fashioned Bar-B-Que & Fish Fry” That sound delicious! This may just be the solution we are looking for with this year’s Thanksgiving dilemma. No one can agree on the meat this year. None of us want turkey, we have had brisket the last 3 years, BLEGH to ham, and ribs are just not getting the thrill we are looking for. It’s time to look to the past for answers, and they just might be in this little tin. PLEASE let there be a recipe for Ambrosia Salad.
