I have been looking like a weirdo on this camping trip. I had seen a video on YouTube of a guy luring in squirrels using a wavy hand and arm movement. I tried it while we were at Crater Lake and I was highly successful. No squirrel could resist me. On this trip, however, I have failed each and every time. Not one single squirrel has been mesmerized by my wavy arms. I have tried slow, fast, big waves, and little waves. Nothing. I had convinced everyone that the trick works, but now they think I am just nuts. I really should stop trying. Maybe the squirrels here don’t speak the same language. Is it a chipmunk only thing? OH! I see another squirrel out the window… GOTTA GO!!
