My chickie Heather has been broody far too long now. Today I am going to take the advise one of my readers gave me and lock her out of the box all day. It is just fine that I have one less egg each day, but now I think it is bad for her health. She is not getting enough to eat and it must be depressing being cooped up all day in the nest box.
