There is yard work that needs to be done, but it is FREEZING outside. Please note that it is California freezing in the 40’s, not like the rest of the country where 40 is shorts weather. I am soft and weak people. My sweet ladies are even finding this weather unacceptable. I try to give them free range time and they enjoy it for about 5 minutes, but then they are back in the warm coop. Can’t blame Jackie, she is still pretty naked or oven ready as they say. I feel oven ready when I go out there. No matter how many layers I put on, my nose and eyeballs are still exposed, so my whole body feels the chill. I wouldn’t last 2 minutes outside of California. Right at the California border the weather changes…it’s like a wall.
