Every day I think my baby bassets are just amazing, but some days they are a little extra awesome. At the beginning of the year my youngest basset’s class decided on how they would monitor the class’s behavior. They picked a rainbow chart. The marker started at green, and if their behavior was good it went towards red, if it was less than stellar it went towards purple. The class agreed on the system and all was good. Well, not everyone agreed. My sweet baby basset had other ideas. He wasn’t going to run with the pack, he is his own pack and he wanted his own rainbow. The teacher, being the patient angel that she is, gave him his own rainbow. A few days later I heard quite a few other kids asked for their own rainbows as well. Now my baby runs with his own pack of rainbows. Ok… I’m sorry, but.. what just happened here? This is good right? I’m going to say it’s good cuz he is a leader. Maybe it’s not could because he can’t share a rainbow and leads other kids to not sharing.. OH GEEZ! I have no clue. Freaking rainbows! Is it 5 o’clock yet?
