It is kinda nice this morning. I woke up and looking around the house I see I have a lot of cleanup to do. We celebrated the Fourth of July with a pretty good sized group of family and friends, all of whom brought over their favorite dishes. Once again I find myself not having to cook for a few days with all the left overs I was blessed with. With all the guests walking in and out of my house, my pups spent most of the day in the back garden, so they wouldn’t get loose. When the fireworks started in the neighborhood, the pups and kitty were locked in the bedroom with Animal Planet on the TV. It was this morning when the pups were able to finally access all the delicious crumbs that were dropped on the floor. It was like their own private party. I am certain that Junebug ate a whole cookies worth of crumbs and possibly half a hot dog. The floor is once again spotless. Right now all three critters are napping after the huge meal. Good times!
