The other night at Target, hubby attacked me with a price gun that an employee had left on a shelf. He is normally such a subdued kinda fella, so it was quite a surprise to me when he grabbed it and started putting little stickers all over my back and shoulders that said best by 9524281. First of all, they still have these little sticker guns. HA! I should have stolen it. Secondly, what’s with the random numbers? Another customer must have been playing with it as well. HA HA! So the next morning I was rushing around getting ready to take the baby bassets to school and I was just about out the door when hubby grabbed my arm and started picking the little stickers off my sweatshirt. With my saggy sweatpants, wild unbrushed hair and coffee stains on my shirt, It’s sweet that hubby felt the stickers might be a bit much and wanted to help.

“I just wanted to be normal, but the day college started a supernatural world opened up. Now I don’t know who to trust… or even if I’ll survive the night.”
A new urban fantasy series from the award-winning screenwriter of ground-breaking BBC TV series Spirit Warriors.
When Marley moves into her dorm at Blackville University, the recent murder of a Tennerson student is the last thing on her mind. She has roommates to get to know, classes to sign up for, parties to attend, and an over-protective father to avoid, who, as luck would have it, has just been hired at BU as its newest History professor.
After a childhood of being bullied due to a condition she can’t help having, all Marley wants is to be normal. She hopes a new start in a new city will provide that.
Unfortunately, life has other plans for her.
When she, along with three other girls try to stop an attack, a secret new world opens up, one where supernatural beings rule the night. But that’s not the worst thing, not by a long shot. Try never knowing if what you’re seeing is real, especially when one of those things is a murder…
Saving the world has never been this twisted!

You never forget your first love… With her eye for design and her cut-glass accent, no-one would guess Beth Forrest’s impoverished background. It’s all throw pillows, china patterns, and upper class brides as she manages the Wedding Registry at Pettett & Mayfield, the stately maiden aunt of London department stores. It’s not quite her dream job, but each bride she helps to select beautiful and oh-so-expensive items for their gift list brings her one step closer to buying a little home of her own, and financing the education she longs for.
When physics professor James Tetherton-Hart, brilliant in his research lab but awkward and disorganised in everyday life, comes to the store in desperate need of both a gift and a partner for a wedding that evening and recognises her, all her careful plans and meticulous checklists are turned upside down.
Now her first love is back, determined to make her his partner for life, not just the evening. But unless Beth can let go of the mistaken beliefs that separated them in the past, and appreciate the depth and breadth of God’s love for us all, her only gift from the wedding will be another heartbreak.
Book 1 in the Love in Store series of sweet and clean Christian inspirational romances.
The series is set around a stately old London department store, and the same settings and staff pop up in each book. But no need to read in order!
Every story is a complete romance, following a different couple through the trials and joys of a developing love, to their happy-ever-after.
