I might have over done it. I spent a good part of the day decorating for Halloween and shopping for the food. Even though the party will have far fewer people than in past years, I am still planning this out as if I will have a full house. Hubby tried to slow me down, but I am quick, and my bob & weave game is strong. I am pretty agile even when I am dragging a giant spider through the house. Those eight legs don’t slow me down one bit. I feel a little bad for my oldest basset. Today is his birthday and he has never had a family birthday party that wasn’t filled with Halloween decorations. When the boys were smaller, we put on some elaborate parties for the friend party. They were cheap (ish), but elaborate, and usually a week before their actual birthday. My greatest party was for my youngest. His name is Cash, and the theme of his party was inspired by Catalina Island. WEIRD! I KNOW! The party was titled Cashalina Island. I will post pictures of that some day. It was AMAZING! No one got it, but there was plenty of cake and candy, so the kids didn’t really care. Alright, enjoy the books. I have some spooky cloth to hang up.
