I am such a jerk! I have been going on and on about my trip, but I never said thank you to all of you who took the time to send me messages about places I should visit. Your suggestions helped me A LOT!! When I was planning the trip I was really having a hard time because I didn’t know the areas to visit. Sure, I watched a lot of YouTube videos on places to see, but I quickly learned that the internet has a way of misleading people. Oh.. don’t get me wrong. I got a lot of great information, but it was you guys who steered me in the right direction. Including places that only locals know about. A lot of you who lived or are currently living in the places I would be driving through helped me the most. So… THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! You guys know I will be bugging you for my next trip. I’m thinking the southwest in Spring!

A rose mage who cannot utter her own name.

A fae prince who never had one.

The fae queen who desires to use them both to start her reign of darkness.

Favorite of the fae Queen of the Eclipse Court, Rose-or Ruby, as everyone knows her-had been raised with all the privileges and luxuries of a princess, despite being human. And all the queen has ever asked in return is for Rose-the only known rose mage in existence-to gather for her the magical rose oil. But the queen is no benign ruler, and Rose knows better than any the darkness and power the queen will use to get her own way.

Playing the puppet for the sake of her friends, Rose has had little choice but to obey the queen since she was small-even when it broke her heart. But when the queen makes a request of Rose that she dares not fulfill, Rose makes her escape from the queen’s dark domain into the magical-and dangerous-world of Faerie.

Despite his closest friend’s betrayal five years before, Aemon and his followers escaped the Eclipse Court and have been doing their best to stop his mother from spilling her darkness out of the Eclipse Court into Faerie and the rest of Aerovain. Which shakes him all the more when he finds his childhood friend and betrayer on his doorstep, begging for help to save Aerovain. And though her story seems credible, Aemon wants little to do with Ruby… even if she’s blossomed into the most beautiful creature he’s ever seen.

Whether they want to or not, however, Rose and Aemon have little choice. If they wish to keep the powerful oil out of his mother’s hands, they must flee to the Winter Court-the home of Aemon’s estranged father. And as they and their friends flee north, they find that Vashti isn’t their only enemy. Rose’s humanity makes her a target for the local fae, as does Aemon’s lack of a True Name. And it quickly becomes undeniably clear that they must learn how to fulfill the roles they were meant to play.

For if Rose can’t become the rose mage the world needs…

If Aemon can’t complete his magic…

The Eclipse Queen will soon rule them all.

The right love doesn’t just fit — it transforms. Because love isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Big boobs, tiny waist, wide hips, and long legs. That’s me, Zelda Gordon.

The world calls me plus-sized.

My parents call me voluptuous.

My ex-boyfriend Tristan? He called me an embarrassment. So I kicked him outta my house and outta my life. But the damage was done and my confidence crawled into the gutter with him.

Until two of the sexiest, sweetest guys I’ve ever met lifted me up.

Drew and Aithan call me a Valkyrie, they call me beautiful, and they love me just the way I am. And you know what? I think I can learn to love myself, too. Unless jealousy rears its ugly head and murders our happiness just as it’s taking shape.

Because an ex’s spite is more dangerous than my curves.

NOTE: If you find cussing offensive, if you skip past the sex scenes, or if the idea of multiple love interests makes you clutch your pearls (not in a good way), The Fatkini Chronicles ain’t the books for you. But, if you love curvy girl, chronic illness romance with a why choose relationship and two cinnamon roll heroes who are all about her happiness, then this series is calling your name.

South Texas Drag
by Tony Molina
4.1 Stars (39 Reviews)
Genre: History

FREE for a limited time

Take a trip through the South Texas terrain through the eyes of drug runner, Toño Garcia. His distinctive South Texas slang adds a unique charm to this dark story, but the appeal and originality doesn’t stop there. This guy knows more about style than Carrie Bradshaw, which adds massive flavor and a whole new twist to a tale about “crime as a way of life” in South Texas.
Toño sets the mood of every scene by describing the sagebrush and cactuses, the 100-degree heat, the dusty roads, and winding rivers. He sets the mood, too, cluing us into memories, his history. These tales — from the time he had to smuggle prize-winning horse jizz across the border, to the 55-gallon tanks that serve as human caskets for his “colleagues” the Bass brothers when drug deals go wrong — come together to show us that Toño is trapped, but surviving the best he can.
Toño puts on his favorite Bed Stu boots for this particular job — he must kidnap the girlfriend of El Commandante, in order to save his own life. Toño killed the one of the cartel’s son’s six months back in self-defense with his lucky tanto blade. You see, ain’t nobody better with a knife than Toño, expect maybe his uncle, El Maestro, the man who ordered this job.
Toño can’t go this alone. He calls on his crew: Rigo and Paco, and Jay — a bigtime ex con, old school drug runner, retired now, most of the time. Loyalty and self-preservation are everything to these guys. After all, that’s all they’ve got, well, that and drug running.
But things don’t go as planned. The girl they kidnap is not “the girlfriend.” It appears the whole job is a setup. Toño must go off the grid, in order to save his bros, his crew, his own life. Just another day in South Texas.
