And now for the early morning chicken report. I couldn’t sleep last night, I was too worried about the chicks. My mother-in-law mentioned rats, so all I could think of were rats attacking my baby chicks. I was finally able to fall asleep at 1 in the morning. This morning I quickly checked on the babies and all four are sleeping happily right now. That brings me to another issue. Whats with the lazy chickens? Even my dogs are up before them? Maybe they had too much outside time yesterday. I wore them out.
