I told everyone I was going to be adventurous and read a horror novel, and I have picked one out, but I have GOT to read “The Toad King” listed below. The book overview describes aliens that faint at the thought of battle. Who can resist that? I just picture a bunch of goofy aliens with short legs and long necks (remembering E.T.) getting into all sorts of mad-cap situations. I know it’s not out of my comfort zone, which was my original plan, because I love science fiction, but I usually don’t read military books so that’s new for me. Plus I’m a chicken and I don’t feel like being kept up all night wondering what is under my bed, but convinced it wants to eat me. I don’t know how you horror lovers sleep at night.
