I do not believe in giving cats baths. I think it is cruel and painful…to me. I won’t do it because I get scratched and usually bump something, so I have always stood my ground about bathing cats. Until last night. My kitty seems to have acquired some tenants that just haven’t gotten the hint with the medicine I give him, so for the first time in his 10 years of life I locked him in my shower and made it rain. First, I thought cats were supposed to shrink when you get them wet. Apparently my 18 pound cat is not just fluffy. Secondly, what is that noise I hear coming from that sopping wet mop at the bottom of the shower. He hit notes I have never heard in my entire life, and I think it actually spooked my resident ghost away.
