Oh those poor sweet ladies. My chickies are looking like such a motley flock. They have each lost quite a bit of feathers and even though it’s a natural and I can see the new feathers coming in, I think it might actually bother them. When I am home they are able to be out of the coop, free to run around, but they are choosing to stay in most of the time. They run out as soon as the door is open, and they enjoy the sunshine for a bit, but it’s not long before they are right back in the coop looking a bit down. I am thinking a nice treat of crickets are in order to cheer them up.

The Dragons Are Coming! Dragons Restored and Other Short Stories are a mixture of fantasy and science fiction stories. They are targeted at the young adult audience, but will be enjoyed by all. Most of the stories were written for specific purposes and had strict word limits. The stories include tales from other worlds. In one story dragons are the dominant race, and humans aren’t even represented, except through a magical viewer. In another magic has all but disappeared from the world, except the remnants of magical stones, and pretend magicians that can assert some power over select magical stones. This world has an evil race that threaten to conquer the immediate land and turn their neighbors into slaves. The worst part of their predicament is that they have a dragon as a slave, when all other dragons appear to be extinct. Will the rest of the world fall to this evil, or can something be done? Other Stories Included Other stories include super villains wanting to control the world, and teens with special powers given them by specific runes. The Rune Master’s Apprentice will have you in suspense until the very end. You will enjoy these short, but entertaining stories.

The complete trilogy by best-selling author of Amish Christian Romances, Sarah Price, and Whoopie Pie Pam Jarrell. Follow the story of four Amish sisters who run Whoopie Pie Place, the best known bakery outside of Berlin, Ohio. Each sister has a secret that influences their lives and, unknowingly, impacts each other. Yet, little by little, the pressure of balancing their responsibilities of their daily lives with their individual secrets becomes harder to manage. The Divine Secrets of the Whoopie Pie Sisters is a different type of Amish Christian story. By blending Sarah Price’s 25 years experience of living among the Amish in Pennsylvania with Pamela Jarrell’s extensive 15 years experience interacting and befriending the Amish in Berlin, Ohio, Price and Jarrell team up to give the readers a new type of story that focuses not so much on romance but on friendships and the reality of day-to-day life living among the Amish. This book contains all three of the original “books” plus recipes and hymns from the Ausbund.
