I should have thought of my beekeeper classmates as fellow warriors for the good of bees, but instead I see them as competition. That’s just until I secure our order of bees of course. The beekeeping class was pack last night. As I looked around the room I recalled the beekeeping club meeting that my partner in crime and I attended last year, and it was packed as well. I thought to myself, how on earth can the bees be so threatened when you have so many people becoming beekeepers? This just shows you how bad the situation is for our cute little buzzy friends and just how much I have to learn. After the first two and a half hour class last night I realized just how little I know. Thank golly I am doing this with my partner in crime because right now I could very easily feel overwhelmed. I guess I really just need to take a breath. The bees have been doing this for years. I am sure they will do just fine. OOP!! The excitement just hit me again.
