My not so fluffy anymore kitty had great news from the vet yesterday. It looks like the trial medicine they are testing on him is working great and his diabetes is under control. What’s my first thought? Get this kitty some food, he is wasting away. Please note that my kitty was a rather large 18 pounds and now he is 16 and looking much healthier. He is even exploring parts of the house he hasnt seen in years, like the counter tops. After years of trying to get him to lose weight, I get all crazy when he does. Okay…I will leave him be to explore, but maybe I will put a treat in a high place for him to find.

A prequel to the Cattarina Mysteries, this short story provides an irresistible feline take on 1830s Philadelphia and gives readers a glimpse of Cattarina’s early life with her “Eddy.”
