So while my partner in crime made me an awesome gift filled with talent and love, I am actually doing her a solid by not making my gift for her. I am by no means talented and really do not wish that kind of inconvenience on anyone. My homemade gifts are usually kinda cursed. My poor father got a ceramic Sea Anemone from me one year for his birthday. It had about ten million little feelers sticking out of it, and every time you even looked at it, one would fall off. He would feel so bad about it. He tried to fix them as they fell, but they never glued back on right and it would only cause another to fall off. I am sure that thing is completely naked by now. Another horrible gift I gave was to my sister. I usually gave her gifts cards, but one year I wanted to make it more personal. I put the card in a box that I had personalized with nifty designs and Modge Podge the padoodle out of it. So much so it sealed the box shut. I’m sure it took a few days of sawing for her to get to that card. I’m going to just stick with the cookies.
