I planted one little thing last night in my garden, and now I feel like I have opened the floodgates. I can’t wait any longer to plant the rest of my seeds. We are still getting pretty cold here in the mornings, 35 degrees, but I can cover the planters with a clear plastic to protect any little baby veggies that sprout. Plus I think I want to get my plants in order so I have time to spend with the new additions that will be arriving next Sunday. Two little guinea pigs. I am really looking forward to them arriving, and I am impressed that my youngest is spending so much time studying up on them and learning all the tips and tricks on how to care for your little piggies, but I can’t help but feel that I will be the one caring for them. Chickens, cat, dog, now guinea pigs. I am going to charge admission to the petting zoo.
