OH WOW!!! You guys are sending me some awesome cookie recipes. I love it..keep em coming! I also love some of the fun snack ideas. My youngest baby basset has never been a fan of chocolate, but loves white chocolate, so thank you Nancy for the awesome white chocolate/popcorn snack idea. That will be fun and easy surprise for the boy’s lunches next week. With my new chocolate melter my mother in law bought me it will be super easy to do. Yesterday I started the cookie palooza and I don’t know if it was the weather or the planets weren’t aligned right, but I just couldn’t get my cookie press to work, so I had to change it up a bit and use a cookie cutter. I was feeling a bit down that it wasn’t the same as I had done every year. It felt like I was failing at keeping the tradition alive. But once I saw those cute little bee shaped cookies come out of the oven, I was delighted. Change is good, and the fun recipes you guys are sending me are getting me fired up to try new things. Keep them coming and I will try to bake them and post pictures. Thank you so much!!

When Smart Lifestyle runs into commercial trouble, Wulff sends in a brilliant negotiator, Sam Jardine to war torn Ukraine where he collaborates with some dangerous characters to secure the largest data centre in the world. His murderous social algorithm uncovers a conspiracy by a group of Ukrainian monks, intent on restoring the Tsarist Rurikid regime personified by the notorious Ivan the Terrible.
As Sam falls for a stunning local politician, Natalya Alexandrova, he becomes a pawn in her ambitious plans for the rebel Donetsk People’s Republic. A Long Way From Nowhere: A Couple’s Journey on the Continental Divide Trail
by Matt Urbanski, Julie Urbanski
3.8 Stars (159 Reviews)
Genre: Sports & Outdoors

FREE for a limited time

What is it like to hike the length of the Continental Divide Trail? For Matt and Julie, also known as Optimist and Stopwatch, life on the trail meant twenty-seven days without seeing another hiker, six bears encountered within fifteen hours, two sets of maps, a GPS, and a compass to find the trail, and both wildfires and massive flooding to add to the adventure. Hiking the trail also meant a dramatic shift in perspective, a strengthening of love and friendship, and a redefining of the journey.

This is the story of the couple’s 3,000 mile walk on the Continental Divide Trail, through New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. Both Optimist and Stopwatch play a role in narrating the story, revealing how differently they both think and act in the face of challenges but also how well they work together to complement each other.

Few people know about the Continental Divide Trail and even fewer have hiked the entire length of it, creating an air of mystery surrounding the trail. Optimist and Stopwatch explore the many layers of the trail life on the Continental Divide Trail as they make their way over desolate terrain, eventually finding solace in the very aspects of the trail that made them question their desire to ever take on such a challenge.
