Today I am keeping it short and sweet. CANDY… haha.. okay, I will say a bit more. This morning I am hitting the ground running. I am going back to the kitchen to help with the Sonoma Family Meal operations. We have been cooking away, feeding the first responders, evacuees, and also those people who are dedicated to keeping important places like dialysis clinics open and running. One of our wonderful volunteers informed us that the people who work at her dialysis clinic have been sleeping at the clinic because they wanted to be sure everyone was taken care of. They refused to leave! So we fed them. This is what Sonoma County is all about!!

“The Love In the Air Is Thicker Than The Smoke” I don’t know who wrote that, but I love it.

If you would like to donate to Sonoma Family Meal click here. We are working hard to support our local farmers and ranchers as well as evacuees and first responders. Currently is says we raised $22,701… that was for the 2017 fires, NOT this fire. We have just started fundraising for this fire and need help. You can also see pictures from the last two days on our Facebook page by clicking here. We have also have a go fund me page you can donate by clicking here. Thank you guys.

Border Son

4.5 Stars (9 Reviews)
Genre: Suspense

FREE for a limited time

It’s been years since Edward Kazmierski has seen his wayward son. In fact, it’s been years since he has allowed thoughts of Tyler to even enter his mind. The last place he knew Tyler to be was in an El Paso jail six years ago. Then, in one day, he receives a cryptic phone call telling him that his son needs him in Mexico, another from a federal agent searching for Tyler, and a visit from two men he hopes to never meet again.

South of the border, the chain of events set into motion by an impulsive act will almost certainly lead to death–for Tyler and for those who try to help him. But before Ed can recover his son, he will have to tear down the wall that has been built up between them.

With insight and artistry, Samuel Parker brings the dusty and dangerous streets of a Mexican border town into sharp focus in this suspenseful reimagining of the Prodigal Son story.

Turns out Mary and Preston make quite the detective duo. Even Tripp gets in on the detective work. But now he’s in danger.

CONTROVERSIAL
BOLD
COMPELLING

A Story Exploring Both Sides of Fate

Free-lance writer Zach Miller doesn’t mind going the extra mile for a good story, but 7,500 miles is a bit more than he bargained for. Nevertheless, when his closest friend fortuitously points the way to Israel, reluctantly he goes.
In the caldron of intrigue, politics, and terrorism that is the modern Middle East, Zach uncovers a plot — one that potentially threatens the lives of perhaps millions. His problem? There are two sides to every coin, and at least two sides in every war. But in this kind of conflict, information is a commodity, and misinformation, a weapon. Zach might be the unexpected emissary, the man with an answer, but sadly, neither side trusts him. Worse still, both sides will do anything in their power to stop him.
Far from home, in a strange and at times incomprehensible land, Zach has no resources other than his own ingenuity… and a desire to be on the side of truth. That might be too tall an order in an encounter where both combatants are dead certain that there is only one truth: theirs.

Mistaken Enemy, the first of the Zach Miller Stories, is a heart-racing account of hate, revenge and destiny, ultimately testing the boundaries of human love and will.
