Since the day we got our little terrier, Casper, we have been trying to convince him that not everyone who walks past our house is a bad guy threatening to steal all the doggie treats. Every day he dedicatesso much time and energy to barking at EVERYONE, and everything. I am pretty sure I saw him harassing a crow that was sitting on the lawn. The crow did not seem too worried about him, and this angered Casper a lot. This of course made me giggle a bit. All this time I have spent trying to get him to stop barking has left me with some serious doubts about how I feel about Casper. Maybe…just maybe he is right. Maybe I shouldn’t doubt him, but instead listen to him. Maybe he is right in thinking everyone out there wants his treats. I bet ten bucks if I offered one of those treats to a dog walking by they would take it. I have some serious thinking to do. In the meantime though, I will hide his treats for him.
