It was absolutely the cutest thing I have seen in a long time, that did not involve a fuzzy critter. It was a group of four kids, ranging in age from about 10 to 15, that came walking down my sidewalk. They were, laughing, horsing around, just enjoying the warm late afternoon weather. One paused and looked towards my house (got it all on camera) and he walked to my front door, did something for about ten seconds or so, then bolted across my lawn to his friends where they all took off running. I noticed there was someone at my door because I was sitting on my couch that faces the glass front door. The pups sounded the alarm so I opened the door to see if they did anything. Nope! My cute little metal chicken is still there, nothing was disturbed. Hubby reviewed the security camera footage, and all we could see were kids being goofy and having a good, time. We were DOORBELL DITCHED! Too bad my doorbell is broken, but it’s the thought that counts. I was so happy to see kids being silly, and enjoying each others company. A delightful trip back to Mayberry!
