Happy MONDAY! Ew.. that left a bad taste in my mouth. I wonder if I hate Mondays because Garfield always hated them. Nope.. they are just a horrible day. Mondays are especially horrible if you had a great weekend, and the Book Basset family did. We enjoyed the warmer weather, hung out with our friends in our inner circle, dined outside at a burger joint, and made a few items out of wood on our CNC machine. It was an easy pleasant weekend. And that’s what makes this Monday morning icky. Although I can happily say at least I don’t have to take any Math or English tests. I will take adulting over being a kid taking tests any day of the week. My baby bassets will be taking the state tests soon. You remember the one. There is a big booklet, a scan tron, and you have to sit for five hours filling in little bubbles. YUCK!  I just read an email from the school informing us this year it will all be taken online and at home. They also asked us parents to please not help our children with the tests. BWHAHAHA! Yaaa… no problem there teach. You won’t find me anywhere near that test. I will be over here doing anything else BUT helping. Plus I want me boys to do well.
