Hubby has spent the last month making our garage a more usable space for my projects. I now have all the space in the world for my table saw and sander, and enough pegboard to hang every single tool I own and maybe even a few of the neighbors. It looks fantastic and I can’t wait to get started on my next project. BUNNIES! It’s Easter time and I am in the mood for bunnies. It’s a crazy feeling knowing that I actually have a really nice space to work in. No more cooking in the hot sun in the driveway on makeshift tables. After all the work hubby did, I better not make any ugly bunnies.

He does not relish killing, but in a world of wars every fighter knows it is the only way to survive.

Erez Eliav, an Israeli soldier in an elite unit, leads his life according to the code of warriors — morality, loyalty, responsibility, respect for others and the enemy, and cruelty alongside generosity.

Like many warriors, he has no desire to kill, but in a country that is fighting for its existence, he has no choice. Nothing, however, has prepared him for the moment when terrorism reaches him, turning his life into scorched earth. He returns to the place he knows best, but this time motivated only by revenge.

In a poignant, uninhibited and sometimes even crude style, the author, who served in a secret unit of the Israel Defense Forces, tells an enlightening story spanning forty years. From his childhood to his enlistment, through to his experience as a soldier who becomes an officer and a leader. The impossible operations, some of which succeed and some of which fail. The fascinating women. The passion surrounding life as a fighter.

Roni Eliav still serves in the reserve forces with the rank of lieutenant colonel. He was part of an elite unit during his mandatory service and stayed on as a career officer. Today he lives in Ashkelon, Israel with his partner.

2019 RITA® Award Finalist

Tanner Harlow is a talented landscape designer, quietly building a name and a solid future when he finds himself needing to be the temporary guardian to his eleven-year-old half-sister. Tanner loves her, but can’t see himself as a father figure or imagine how he’s going to build his business during his busiest season with a child in tow until his newest client — his high school crush who still makes his heart pound — has a proposition that will help them both as long as Tanner can resist the tempting lure of the girl next door.

Elementary school teacher Francie Tate moved back to Marietta to be close to her ailing father. She plans to settle in and fix up her little bungalow before the school year starts, but definitely needs help with the neglected yard. She’s shocked when the landscaper she hired turns out to be a class mate. Tanner used to be shy in school, but he isn’t the same kid anymore-he’s tall, sexy, and has the most striking brown eyes she’s ever seen. When Francie learns of Tanner’s need for child care, she impulsively offers to watch his half-sister for the summer in return for some landscaping and renovations around the house.

It seems like a win-win, but Francie didn’t bargain on falling in love.

After their father is bushwhacked, David and Jenny Foster must ready themselves for their first winter in Colorado’s rugged San Juan Mountains. Eighteen-year-old Jenny is under no illusions — it’ll take a miracle to survive, much less thrive, in the unforgiving wilderness, particularly when twelve-year-old David fights her every attempt to prepare.

Unexpected help arrives when John Beck — once a close friend of their father’s — arrives at their cabin. The tough-as-nails bounty hunter reluctantly agrees to stay through the winter. He owes it to his murdered friend to help Foster’s children build a working ranch, even if it’s the last thing he wants to do.

Their uneasy alliance is fraught with hardships, danger, and back-breaking work that still doesn’t guarantee anyone will survive until spring. Especially with their father’s killer still on the loose.
