With eight Monarch caterpillars in the habitat, I worry that I will have enough food for them. My partner in crime was kind enough to loan me her two milkweed plants that were still in pots, but I have my doubts that it will be enough. Thankfully this morning I saw one was ready to go into the chrysalis form, so that means I am down to seven mouths to feed. I have an abundance of very small milkweed plants that I grew from clippings, but they certainly wont be enough for any of these guys to last through lunch. I’m thrilled that I found eight of these fat little cuties, but DARN! They can eat!

Saltwater Song

Parker

I’m so sick of longing for things I can’t have.

Three years of caring for my father and running his marina had stripped me of everything – my old life in the music business was gone — and now so was he. I wanted to start my life again, but even from the grave, the old man was controlling me and my brothers.

I wanted to get back to who I was before, who Kelsey saw me as, but I didn’t know if that was even possible, no matter how badly I wanted it.

Kelsey
He discovered me in a bar at age seventeen and turned me into a singing sensation. Parker was my manager and my best friend, but he promised me from day one we’d never be anything more. That made the fact that I was hopelessly in love with him more than a little inconvenient.

He’d been gone three years, and I’d missed him every day. Now I was going to get him and prove to him it was finally time for us to make music together again, on and off the stage.

If you like high stakes small town romance with a hint of heat and a guaranteed HEA , Saltwater Song is for you.

This small town romance friends to lovers romance is the first book in the new Marlin Shores trilogy by USA Today Bestselling author Monique McDonell and can be read as a stand-alone novel.

Genre: Science Fiction | Mystery

In the future, as humanity spreads throughout the galaxy, the ideals of justice for all, integrity, and honesty are nothing more than outdated concepts to many who have benefited as members of the wealthy, elitist ruling class.

To the incorruptible lawman, Thomas Sullivan, these ideals are all he has left to cling to. Betrayed by those he respected and admired, the very institutions he served, Sullivan has paid a heavy price. The loss of his mentor, friend, and woman he loved are just the beginning.

In a shadowy future, where the dark ideals of greed, lust for power, and a sense of entitlement govern the choices of many, there are those who still stand for justice. Men like Thomas Sullivan.

With little more than a job he loves, Sullivan struggles to find his way in a universe that increasingly seems to have no place for him. Damaged by the events of his life and in conflict with himself, Thomas Sullivan is The Fractured Man.

Fans of classic crime noir stories and science fiction will love the cross-genre novella The Fractured Man. Mostly human and part cyborg, Thomas Sullivan is a classic noir lawman, tortured by his past and faced with an uncertain future. Betrayal, corruption, and murder await his every turn.

The Fractured Man is the first of two prequels to The Predator and The Prey, the first novel in the Inspector Thomas Sullivan Thriller Series.
