As far as New Year’s Resolutions go, I think I am doing pretty good. Ten days in and I have yet to fall off my diet wagon. I would like to say it has to do with will power, but I would be lying. I ate so much sugar and junk food starting last October that I am still too sick of it to want any right now. I have the same feeling about junk food as do do for Tequila. I had one bad Tequila night back in my 20’s and just the smell of it still makes me a bit queasy. Sadly my aversion to junk food won’t last, but I am going to take advantage of it for now. The fact that I put a limit on my NYR of one month, also makes it a lot easier to do. I normally find January a bit boring, but this year I am feeling like it is my chance to hit restart. That’s just kinda nice.
