I was definitely over ambitious yesterday when I woke up. I was feeling a lot better than I had the last two days, and I was going to make up for time lost being sick. The first item on my ToDo list was to trim a few plants in the front yard before the bees woke up. I got dressed, grabbed my gardening gloves and tools, and headed out front. I cut and trimmed like a mad woman. I was on fire! No one could stop me. That is until I got to the second plant. Yes, I was a beast with the first plant, but when I stood up to make my way to the second, I was less of a beast and more of a sickly weak blob. In my head I quickly started removing items from my ToDo list that I was going to complete that day. By the time I trimmed the third plant I was making my way back to bed. I actually don’t remember finishing trimming the last plant. I should go out there and see if he is okay. I think by the end I was just stabbing him with the clippers. POKE POKE. I accomplished nothing else that day. Not a thing. Today will be different. I have my ToDo list ready and I am feeling great! LET’S DO THIS!!! That’s right… I learned nothing.

Meanwhile, Odelia had her hands full with a missing persons case. The wife of Marge’s ex-boyfriend had disappeared, and her daughter begged Odelia to find her. And then there were all those werewolf sightings. Suffice it to say Odelia had plenty of material for her articles. So you might be inclined to think things were looking good for the Poole family.
Unfortunately we threw a spanner in the works when we asked Grandma Muffin to become a CCREC’er. Don’t look at me like that. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Gran really took the mission to heart, and things more or less went downhill from that point onward. Uncle Alec practically lost his job, the two ex-convicts Marge had taken under her wing clearly were up to no good, and a war between cats and dogs suddenly seemed like a very real prospect.
