I usually like to be pretty involved in my baby basset’s lives, but there is one part I have really made myself scarce in. Driving lessons for my oldest. YIKES! Any time the subject of him going for a driving lesson comes up, I run the other way. Literally run. Do you know how bad it has to be for me to run? I hate running. This body was not built for it with my very heavy and thick legs. He doesn’t even want to learn how to drive, so it’s very easy for me to avoid it. Thankfully hubby has been putting the pressure on him. It’s really a win win for me because I for once am not the one nagging someone to do something, and I get out of the lessons. At some point I will have to jump in the passenger seat with him behind the wheel, but as long as my running shoes are on I am safe.
