I’m feeling very greedy. The weatherman says that today we should expect a pretty big rain storm, and I say BRING IT! A few days ago you could see the streams already filling up pretty high, and some of the areas that usually flood were looking close to doing so. I am so tired of hearing about droughts and record low lake levels, that I welcome the rain. People around here know how to deal with flooding and have plans in place. A few years back our neighborhood flooded pretty bad. The water was well past the sidewalks and making its way up the driveways. That was the worst it had ever flooded in over 40 years. I didn’t know so many people in my neighborhood owned kayaks! They were certainly having fun. Maybe I should go out now and borrow my friends, just to have it on hand.
