It’s Monday morning and Valentine’s Day is just a little over a week away. Here is my public service announcement for today. If you haven’t already…make your Valentine’s Day plans right now. I mean RIGHT NOW!! This Valentine’s Day I will be making tacos for dinner. What makes these tacos special Valentines Day tacos? I will make them on Valentine’s Day. Okay.. maybe I will put them on little heart shaped plates. That would be cool. Festive even. I have never really been into Valentine’s Day. I know I sound like a curmudgeon, but I hold a grudge against Valentine’s Day. This grudge dates all the way back to junior high, when I never got a candy-gram from a cute boy. High school was no better. Four years and not one boy thought I was cute enough to send me a heart shaped piece of paper with a cheap lollipop taped to it. Looking back, I recall that most of the kids didn’t receive candy-grams. Hmm… maybe I shouldn’t be so hard on Valentine’s Day. Perhaps a cake is in order.
