Having a puppy is like being on a constant Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt begins when you smell that gross nasty smell. Ew. Then you walk around the house, sniffing, searching, sniffing, and searching some more. After far too long you are rewarded with a gross prize. I hate this game. I love my puppy, I love my puppy. I love my puppy.

Don’t Deny the Dead
A woman, clad only in a white nightgown, is dead – her body discovered on the banks of Black River. Her unsolved murder, and her ghost, still haunt the small town where she lived and died.

Twenty-five years later, Detective Gordon Daniels inherits his estranged grandfather’s home on the property where the body was found. Anxious to sell it, Daniels invites his partner, Detective Aaron Remalla to help him clean it out and enjoy some time off from their high-pressure job. But their getaway is interrupted when a second woman’s body is found on the river, clad in a white nightgown, and they are unwittingly thrown them into an investigation they would prefer to avoid.

Their scrutiny of the nearby town uncovers colorful suspects, including a cranky elderly woman and her entitled grandson, two fortune-telling sisters, a paranormal-investigating sheriff, a drifter with a dubious past and Daniels’ own grandfather. As strange occurrences, frightening dreams, and spectral encounters stack up, Detectives Daniels and Remalla are forced to confront the town’s ghosts and will uncover a sinister secret so shocking that someone is prepared to kill to keep it hidden.

Can the specters of the past help them find a killer before the killer gets to them first?

Haunted River is the first book in the Detectives Daniels and Remalla series. It follows the events of the Family or Foe saga where the detectives make their first appearance, but Haunted River can be read on its own.

If you love a heart-stopping murder mystery ghost story, an exciting supernatural thriller whodunit, and an engaging and charismatic partnership between two detectives, then enjoy Haunted River.

They may be faking their relationship, but they can’t fake the sparks that fly when they’re together.

I never thought I’d end up on a cruise ship headed to the Caribbean, but that’s exactly where I find myself after running away from my cheating ex. As soon as the ship sets sail, I run into Noah who got dumped on his wedding day. His dad got tired of him moping around and took him on a forced vacation. Good for me, because misery loves company, right?

Well, maybe not misery. Having Noah around completely brightens my vacation. He even pretends to be my boyfriend to dodge unwanted advances from a questionable guy. There’s only one tiny problem. I didn’t go on this cruise to see if there were other fish in the sea, and falling for a hot stranger definitely wasn’t on the itinerary either.

Instead of choosing which cocktail I’ll be sipping by the pool, I have a different decision to make. Risk getting my heart broken or abandon ship.

100 Things To Get Rid of: What My Minimalism Journey Taught Me about Life
by Jera Sky

Genre: Self-Help

Most of us haven’t gotten lost in our lives at some point, looking for a way to see through it or a guide to figure stuff out. Sometimes you have to leave things behind to be light enough to keep trekking ahead. Here is some raw honesty to kick all your worst traits to the curb. The following book is everything I’ve learned on my minimalist life journey as well as things I may be currently working on. You may think this is only going to be about minimalism, getting rid of extra t-shirts and useless kitchen equipment, but it is in fact about life in general. Our lives are cluttered with so much stuff other than just tangible things. Don’t think of this as your usual run of the mill minimalism book, it is SO much more than that!! This life advice may help you to become a happier, healthier person on cloud nine doing things you never dreamed were actually possible. F*ck being miserable til the day you die.

In my early twenties I was a much different person than the person I am today. Implementing more and more of the things on this list, made me the kinder, more loving, happier, debt free person I am today.

I hope this helps you in some way. Actually I don’t hope, I KNOW it will help you in some way, if you let it.

This was originally based off of one of my very successful Youtube videos. So many people like it I decided to make it better.

Here’s some sneaks:

33. That you know enough. The world today is constantly changing, so you need to be constantly learning in order to keep up. I mean if you want. If you wanna keep up and you wanna be like, living in the world that we live in today, but if you don’t, just by all means, continue doing exactly what you’re doing. Also the world is doubling its information every 18 months, in two years, if you’re not learning, you’re behind. Then in 4 years you’re waaaaaaay behind.

37. Thinking that everybody is watching you. Trust me, they’re concerned about themselves.

42. Saying you’re too busy. Pick and choose. Make your life more manageable.
