I saw a monarch butterfly fly over my house from the backyard yesterday. Now the obsessing begins. You know darn well I will be out there every day, three or four times a day, looking for baby caterpillars. There is a chance she didn’t even lay eggs back there, but I have no way of knowing that. I will have my magnifying headband glasses on and will neglect all of my responsibilities until I know if there were eggs or not. Thank golly I just finished the laundry. Everyone has clean clothes for at least five days. After that it will be chaos in the house.
