I can’t blame hubby for not believing me when I tell him I want to try minimalism again. I love the idea of having less stuff and clean and clear rooms. I also love stuff. Shiny stuff, pretty stuff, stuff made out of copper. I LOVE the copper stuff. Hubby thinks I just can’t make up my mind. Oh but I have. I want both. Can you blame the guy for not knowing what the heck to think of my thought process?  The thing is I love to treasure hunt, but I don’t necessarily want to keep everything. Maybe I was a treasure hunter in a past life, or a racoon. I am still thinking I was a racoon in a past life. They like shiny stuff, right?

I can tell when you’re lying. Every. Single. Time.

I’m Jinx. As a private investigator, being a walking, talking lie detector is a useful skill – but let’s face it, it’s not normal. You’d think it would make my job way too easy, but even with my weird skills, I still haven’t been able to track down my parent’s killers.

When I’m hired to find a missing university student, I hope to find her propped up at a bar – yet my gut tells me there’s more to this case than a party girl gone wild. Firstly, she’s a bookish soul who’s as likely to go off the rails as Mother Theresa. Secondly, I’m not the only one on her trail; she’s also being tracked by the implacable and oh-so-sexy Inspector Stone.

Stone and I team up, and he shoves me into a realm where magic is real – a place where there are vampyrs and werewolves, dragons and trolls. And where my skills are more than just detecting lies…

Oh, and my dog? He’s a freaking hellhound who can manipulate the magical realms themselves.

I need to find the girl.

I need to discover who killed my parents.

And I need to find out more about the attractive but mysterious Zachary Stone…

Burn through this fun, fast-paced, laugh-out-loud mix of urban fantasy and mystery.

If you like humour, heart, a strong heroine and a slow burn fade-to-black romance, check out Glimmer of the Other the first book in the addictive best-selling urban fantasy series.

Full Moon
by Matt Drabble
4.3 Stars (429 Reviews)
Genre: Horror

FREE for a limited time

For Tyler Clayton it was supposed to be a routine prisoner transfer on a routine night. The only out of the ordinary thing was the last minute addition to the bus’s mix of eclectic prisoner and guard characters.

Archie Knox is an old school gangster, a throwback celebrity criminal whose reach is wide enough to cause ripples the size of tidal waves that could drown Clay & those he cares about. A reach that stretches to his cold hearted and vicious granddaughter and her plans for a rescue operation.

Once enough strings are pulled and palms greased the transfer bus is redirected out onto the desolate Bleak Peak Moors. The scene is set to extract Knox, but no amount of careful planning could have predicted what they were about to run into.

Cut off from the world and stranded in the middle of nowhere this band of opposites are going to have to find a way to work together if they ever want to see the morning sun rise again. But with ulterior motives and hidden agendas muddying the waters Clay is going to find that he is in for the fight of his life just to avoid dying, or something far worse.

Out on the moors, everyone is fair game.
