I just schooled my two teenage baby bassets on a certain comic book character’s information. They didn’t believe me, but when they Googled it, I was proven correct.  I am feeling pretty smug right now. This level of maturity at this age I did not expect myself to have when I was younger.

She’s the law in a lawless society… In a commune in the middle of the Californian desert, a trailer is burning.

During the early hours of a hot summer morning, Detective Lawrey Winters is called to the discovery of the bodies of a young couple inside a charred trailer home.
This isn’t the first time a trailer has been set on fire in the commune of Sandtown, but normally the owners aren’t inside.
The locals are notoriously closed-lipped. They believe in protecting their own and the police aren’t welcome.
Except Lawrey has a connection to Sandtown — her son, a troubled addict — lives there, too.
The fire in the trailer stirs up more questions than answers. What happened to the young couple? Why did they make no attempt to escape?
Lawrey digs into their past and learns they were on the run. Was the person after them the same one who killed them?
As her investigation uncovers secrets the towns’ resident would never want the police to know, Lawrey is forced to face the truth.
Is there anyone she can trust?

Welcome to the universe after we finally conquer the urge to blow it all up.

But even a universe at peace is still a dangerous place.

It’s the sort of utopia we all dream about. Well almost, if it contained a probability calculator and teams of well-meaning assistants and assassins.

Physics Professor Antino Klept is missing. His latest experiment may put the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies on a collision course (currently a 38.2% probability).

Meanwhile a primitive planet in contact quarantine has started using advanced comms technology. Not what we expect from a planet with only a medieval civilization.

Allor found a crashed spaceship years ago.

It has taken him years to understand just a fraction of the technology he recovered. But his persistence has paid off.

He heals the sick with alien technology.
He flies across the sky as if by magic.
He even has an interstellar drive but believes it is a weapon.
And his mother has created a religion to worship him. Oh dear!

Allor is on the cusp of uniting Earth Seven under his rule.
But the cost could be high.

How many would you kill to end all war?

Rookie Field Historian Koven Modi is sent to Earth Seven to investigate.

Koven isn’t the best person for the job. He’s the only one left.

Everyone else is looking for Prof. Klept.

Can Koven recover the lost technology?
Will Allor stop him and finally end centuries of war?
Find out now, before it’s too late.
