Day two without Junebug. It’s easy to see that my youngest misses her terribly. We got little Junebug because he had such a horrible fear of dogs, and we were hoping this would help. In the short time she has been with us, the change in my son is incredible. Before he would have run crying from a dog who was just saying hi, but now he handles the energetic greeting from four legged and very excited fuzzy people like it’s no big deal. He has also never shown this much love to a little critter in his whole life. We went to visit her in the hospital yesterday and brought her a toy and her favorite blanket. She looked so sad and weak. She may have been only five pounds, but I never saw her as being weak. A few days of re-cooperation at home should bring her back to her old self.

But all of that pales when Angie finds the perfect house for them, except for one little problem–the house may be haunted.

Many years ago, the newlyweds who lived in the house were murdered, and the case was never solved. While Angie pursues what happened to the couple who now may be haunting the house, Paavo obsesses over his own case involving the murder of unlikely lovers. The trail leads to ghosts, murders, unhappy families, and enough obnoxious wedding buttinskis to fill a graveyard. But when eerie happenings turn deadly, Angie fears she may be spirited away for good!
