I have no self control. I am pretty sure I’m fine with that. Yesterday I bought two fruit trees; a mandarin and a madarinquat. I have never had much luck with fruit trees, but that never seems to deter me. Apparently mandarinquats are $16 a pound if you find them in the store, so there is a reason right there to just buy the plant. I haven’t really decided yet if I will be keeping bees in my yard, but I am going to plant like I am. With my sweet chickens gone (and still quite happy on my friend’s little farm) I have a lot more freedom to plant what I like and where I like. I loved my sweet chickens, but they were very destructive. Complete freedom has become quite a burden though. I was always able to come up with great ideas when I was limited, but now I can do whatever I like and it’s a bit overwhelming. I think if I want to clear my head and open it up to ideas I will have to cut out the little lawn completely.
