Oh no… I caught Spring Fever and it’s still Winter. There was finally a break in the rain and cold dark weather we have been having way too much of, and sun decided to peek out. It was intoxicating feeling the warmth on my back as I un-alived a few plants that weren’t keeping up their end of the bargain. After I filled the yard waste bin way past its capacity, I took a moment to survey my progress. That’s when it hit me. The Spring Fever. I needed to buy plants to fill in the holes I just made. NO!! Don’t do it! We are still going to get a few frosts that will kill anything I plant. This is the year I learn my lesson. I try to convince myself that I will watch the weather forecasts and cover any plants that need it, but I don’t. I never do. They say “Know thy self.” Ya? Well… thy self is lazy as all heck.
